THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE HOOD. THIS HAPPENS TO BE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. I'M SURE THE BATTERY CONTRIBUTED TO THIS. (WHEEL WELLS)

THIS IS THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE TAILGATE. YOU CAN SEE THE FACTORY DRAIN HOLES. YOU CAN ALSO SEE HOW THE SHEET METAL OVERLAPS, AND IS SPOT WELDED. RUST STARTS ALONG THE SEAM, AND AROUND THE DRAIN HOLES. CLOSING THE TAILGATE, WITH GRAVEL OR DIRT IN THE CRACK, SCRAPES THE PAINT OFF THE BOTTOM EDGE FAST. TOUCH UP PAINT IN THIS AREA WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA, EVEN IF THE MATCH ISN'T EXACT.

THIS STEERING BOX IS ONLY THREE YEARS OLD. THE LINES WERE REPLACED TOO. LOOK AT THE DAMAGE FROM SALT. THESE LINES WILL BE REPLACED ASAP. THE BOX WAS PAINTED WHEN NEW. YOU CAN SEE THE RUST ON OTHER PARTS AS WELL.

THIS RIM IS ON MY PLOW TRUCK. THE TIRES WERE ROTATED LAST MONTH. I HAD TO GET ALL THE LOOSE RUST OFF THE LUGS, TO GET THE SOCKET TO FIT. LOOK HOW FAST IT CAME BACK. THESE RIMS ARE 7 YEARS OLD. AMERICAN RACING, WHITE SPOKES.

THESE RIMS ARE ON MY 77. THEY WERE WASHED AND EVEN WAXED REGULARLY. THEY STILL ARE STARTING TO RUST. THE CENTER CAPS BEGAN RUSTING WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR. THEY WERE NEW IN 1992. THERE WERE TRACES OF RUST STARTING WITHIN THE SECOND YEAR.

YOU CAN SEE THE SUPPORTS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THIS BED RUSTED AWAY RIGHT WHERE THE BED SITS ON THE FRAME OF THE TRUCK. IN THIS PIC, THE ROTTED SUPPORTS ARE CLOSEST TO THE TAILGATE.
