What's Left?

3-28-2005

Here is a little follow up on the truck projects. First both trucks have done a wonderful job plowing this winter very few problems. The boys are still getting a few bugs out and doing a few things that did not get done before they ran them out of the shop. Now that spring is here the donor trucks are on there way to the scrap yard. Here is a picture of two of the donors on the trailer ready to go this AM. Frames cut down, cabs and bed removed.

Here are the few parts the boys did not use on the new trucks but thought just maybe they should hang on to them. The axels are all half ton and in matched sets. Also saved some of the springs and other dive train componets.

This is my old service truck (boys said they would make a parts runner out of it) but it ended up being more of a donor than just the utility bed. It lost a lot of parts all the wiring is gone from inside the cab, no motor or trans (motor junk) tarns sold , dash is gone, seat belts gone, gas tank gone just not to much left to build a runner out of. The guy who painted BJs truck says he would like to have it for a project truck, he may just end up with it.

That's All Folks!

I would like to sincerely thank Rich, BJ, and Himmy for sharing their project with me, and allowing me to share it with everyone on my site. Thanks boys!
